Survey Basics Boot Camp
Live Virtual Workshop
June 7, 2023
9:00 am to 3:00 pm Central Time
W. Edwards Deming is quoted as having said that “without data, you are just another person with an opinion.” The one thing worse than not having data is having wrong data. The importance and scope of measurement and evaluation practices have been growing. It is critical for talent development and performance improvement professionals to know how to plan, collect, analyze, and communicate practical, valid, and reliable methods for collecting data that is meaningful and actionable. Whether conducting a comprehensive needs assessment or evaluating a learning event, surveys are needed to collect data.
ROI Institute’s Survey Basics Boot Camp provides a practical framework and resources to help ensure the right questions are asked in the right way to capture the right data.
Learning Objectives
After attending Boot Camp, participants will be able to:
- Address four types of error when developing survey instruments.
