Proving the Value of Meetings and Events

Meetings and events organizers who are interested in this project should attend the Meetings & Events Bottomline on ROI Boot Camp, an intensive, one-day live virtual workshop, approximately six hours in length that delivers the basics of ROI for soft skills. It is offered at a very competitive price of $197 per participant. This training will be facilitated by one or two individuals from ROI Institute. This will be customized just for the leadership development market. For many leadership development providers, this will provide enough content to show them how to make their programs more successful, what they must do to be more focused, and how they can deliver improved results using the process. For others, they will want to be involved in this project and will continue to Phase 2 and pair up with a client.

This is a 33-hour workshop, 3 hours a day for 10 calendar days. Participants will learn how to implement the ROI Methodology and design an ROI evaluation study. Participants receive the ROI Methodology Master Class Certificate upon completion

Participants will be coached through the process until they complete their studies. This coaching will be group-based coaching, where all participants come together once a week. During the sessions, participants will discuss questions, issues, or concerns, share documents for review, etc. The coaching will also include presenting results of the study to the group to obtain feedback. There is no time limit to offer this group coaching

When studies are completed and approved, the Certified ROI Professional designation is granted. This designation is now held by more than 6,000 individuals. It provides customers, clients, and management with an official statement that this individual understands how to conduct an ROI study and has actually conducted a study following the standards of ROI Institute. In essence, it’s a work product certification, recognizing that certification of what someone knows falls short of what is necessary. Certification should be based on what people have actually accomplished on the job using what they know.
