Training can have a positive impact on the business by improving performance—and you can prove it. However, you can increase this impact by designing learning clusters and building the measures into your design. Learning Cluster Design (LCD) is the modern learning design methodology for the digital age, supporting learners when, where, and how they want and need to learn.

This interactive session shows you how to get greater confidence that your learning programs will successfully impact the business.

Objectives

After attending this session, participants should be able to:

  • Describe why learning clusters have a greater impact than traditional training methods, such as classes, courses, eLearning, blended learning, experiential learning, and virtual ILT.
  • Use the SPO process to easily kick off any training project with a measurement discussion before design even begins.
  • Draw your own Learning Cluster with Social, Formal, and Immediate learning assets.
  • Recognize the limitations of “usage measures” and identify alternatives.
